"Compared to other dental offices
I have been to, Dr. Blackley and
his staff have shown
the most compassion.
During the initial visit with
Dr. Blackley, we began
by discussing what my wishes
were for the perfect set of teeth.
He listened, asked questions,
answered questions, and guided me through the steps that we
would need to take." — Paula S.

Dental Implants

Implants are titanium posts that are “screwed” surgically into the jawbone to replace missing teeth. They are made of titanium because bone will grow around the metal, holding the post tightly in the jawbone. After about 3-6 months, when healing has occured, prosthetic teeth (usually crowns) can be permanently placed on the implants. They then function very much like real teeth.

Implants can be used to hold dentures and partials in place when the slip, or can replace dentures and partials with individual teeth!
